A global professional services firm asked us to support part of their drive to improve diversity throughout the business. We focussed on gender diversity at Partner and Director level within a specific UK practice.
We began by comparing gender diversity within comparable UK practices at a number of competitor advisory firms, to enable benchmarking. We next carried out research to identify pools of potential senior female talent – specifically looking at competitor firms where it appeared women encountered ‘glass ceilings’ en route to either Director or Partner level.
We were thus able to advise on potentially receptive candidates and begin creating a talent pipeline of candidates for senior vacancies within the practice.
